Austin X Games Enduro X Riders Confirmed

Defending EnduroCross champion Taddy Blazusiak started the 2013 season with a second-place finish. Final riders for the Austin X Games are to be selected at Las Vegas EnduroCross.

The 2014 Summer X Games will take place in Austin, Texas for the first time on June 5-8 and Enduro X will again be a major part of the show. The top GEICO AMA EnduroCross riders and several top off-road racers from around the globe have already earned an exclusive invitation. But there are 2 starting positions open for both the Men’s and Women’s competition so a top finish at the Las Vegas EnduroCross next Friday, May 2nd could earn a coveted invitation to compete at the X Games.

“We have room for 2 more athletes in both the Men’s and Women’s Enduro X during the Summer X Games in Austin,” said Eric Peronnard, X Games 2 Wheel Sports Organzier. “Riders will have the opportunity to try to earn an invitation with a top finish at the Las Vegas AMA EnduroCross opening round. The Circuit of The America’s is going to be a spectacular venue for X Games and we are so proud to showcase Enduro X again to the X Games audience.”

For the men, the X Games Enduro X will count towards the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship so earning a spot is critical to any rider hoping to make the top 8. For the Women, the Enduro X will be a stand-alone event not counting towards the 2014 Championship but will certainly be one of the highlights of the season.

X Games Austin will span 4 days with extensive TV coverage and the Enduro X will take place on Friday, June 6th. Get more info at
